Store Policies

At our spa, we have the following policies for the mutual convenience of both our clients and the spa:

Health Concerns

Please address any medical problems and allergies to nail tech prior to, so services can safely be performed

Appointment and Punctuality

Appointments can be conveniently booked through our website at https://booking.gocheckin.net/v2/16820, by calling our hotline at (504)-836-6988, or by visiting our store at least one day prior to your desired check-in date. Please note that same-day appointments are only accepted via phone calls.

To ensure we provide you with the best service possible, kindly specify all desired services during booking. Additionally, having several nail design pictures on hand will assist us in achieving the desired look for your nails.

For appointment inquiries, kindly refrain from contacting individual technicians, as they do not have control over bookings. Instead, please reach out to our salon coordinator for assistance.

If you anticipate being late to your appointment, please notify us as soon as possible. While we will make every effort to accommodate late arrivals, we cannot guarantee the completion of booked services if you are more than five minutes late.

Transparent Pricing

Our pricing lists are available at the reception and online. Estimated quotes provided in store for your convenience.

Payment Methods

We accept all types of payment methods, except written checks or payment over the phone. Using any card payment will incur a convenience fee of 2% of total payment. To avoid this type of fee, please help us pay in cash.

Refund

Services are non-refundable. If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your service, we will be more than happy to fix it for you. But changes, such as any length, shape or color choices you make, will be shown to you first on 1-2 nails before we move to the next step. Unfortunately, once your service is complete, we cannot go back to change your original choice or extra charges will be applied.

Regular Polish

Regular polish is a short-term lasting polish that we do not guarantee due to its delicacy. For longer lasting polish, we do recommend gel polish or dipping powder

Gel Polish

Gel is a long lasting polish that we guarantee for 7 days only if the polish was applied along with a manicure. If your gel manicure chips within 7 days, please contact us right away so that we can arrange a fix for you. Please return to the original salon where you had your nails done at. If you go to another salon then you will be subject to paying for the nail fix. If your return for nails fix is outside of the warranty period, then you will be subject to paying for any repairs in full.

Dipping Powder

We guarantee dip powder for 7 days. If your dipping powder chips within 7 days, please contact us right away so that we can arrange a fix for you. Please return to the original salon where you had your nails done. If you go to another salon then you will be subject to paying for the nail fix. If your return for nails fix is outside of the warranty period, then you will be subject to paying for any repairs in full.

Acrylics/ Gel X Full Set

We guarantee acrylics/ Gel X Full Set for 7 days. If your acrylics/ Gel-X Full Set break within 7 days, please contact us right away so that we can arrange a fix for you. Please return to the original salon where you had your nails done. If you go to another salon then you will be subject to paying for the nail fix. If your return for nails fix is outside of the warranty period, then you will be subject to paying for any repairs in full.

Metairie’s Nail Spa Gift Cards

Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash, nor will cash be given in exchange for unused balances. Gift cards are non- refundable, but they are transferable. They can only be used on services, not including tips. Please note that gift cards expire two years from the date of purchase.

Personal Items

Client will be fully responsible for your personal belongings during your visit.

Damage in store

Clients will have to pay compensation if you damage any of the salon products during your visit, such as breaking a nail polish. So please be extra careful when handling polishes.

Children Safety

In order to provide a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere children are only permitted in the salon if they are being seen by one of our nail techs. For safety reasons and insurance purposes, NO child under the age of 12 may accompany you while you are having a service. We do not want to compromise you and our other guests' experience and kindly ask that you make your child care arrangements prior to your scheduled appointment. We do not have the facilities to care for children and will not provide child supervision. We cannot assure their safety in a professional environment. YOUR UNDERSTANDING IS GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Cell Phone & Small Talks

Metairie’s Nail Spa is a place for our clients to relax. Please keep all conversation at low volume and put your phone on vibrate or silent mode. We ask kindly that if you need to make a phone call, please step outside. Keep in mind this may cut into your service time. Moreover, while your nail tech is working with you, we request our clients to reduce using their phones. It makes it difficult for them to do their job up to the standards.

We Reserve the Right to Refuse Service or Stop Service if :

*Anyone with a nail condition we suspect may be contagious

 *Anyone with open or infected wounds on the treatment area

*Anyone in ill health that we suspect may be contagious, or we fear could be further harmed by our services

*Anyone visibly intoxicated

*Rude, mean, loud or disrespectful people

*other reasons deem necessary
